Contributing to special charities and local communities to which we belong is how we stay true to our core values. Our goal is to ensure that our organization imparts positive impact back to the community in which we work and live. We are committed to responsibly deploying our financial resources, time and talent in ways that yield tangible and measurable results.
Each year, Oasis Petroleum takes on community service projects and actively supports organizations and charities near and dear to our heart. Historically, we have focused on projects that involve humanitarian aid. Recent projects have had a focus on family and children. Whether building a house for a deserving family in need through Habitat for Humanity, helping underprivileged high school students reach their full potential and graduate from college through OneGoal, helping under privileged children in foster homes through BEAResource for CPS Kids, or assisting youth, graduating out of foster care, in becoming independent through the HAY Center, giving back to the community is of utmost importance to us.
In Williston, North Dakota, we are involved in Energy Outreach Williston – a joint initiative by Oasis Petroleum, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Nabors, Schlumberger and Statoil, which has contributed over $600,000 to community projects so far. We are also directly involved through financial contributions and volunteer efforts, numerous projects such as Little Lambs Daycare, Salvation Army, Teton Booster Club, and Williston City Clean-Up Day. We also participated in the 2013 Babe Ruth World Series, an event that brought thousands of people from all over the world to our community.
